Edwin J. Feulner Jr.
Edwin J. Feulner Jr. of Alexandria is president of the Heritage Foundation. On the Board of Visitors, he is a member of the Faculty and Academic Standards Committee and serves on the Executive Committee. Feulner's community positions are senior vice president and trustee of the Mont Pelerin Society; trustee and former chairman of the board of the Intercollegiate Studies Institute; member of the Board of the National Chamber Foundation, and trustee of the Council for National Policy, Regis University, the Acton Institute, and the International Republican Institute. He is the past director of Sequoia National Bank. He received the Presidential Citizens Medal in 1989, and holds six honorary degrees. He is the author of five books, Leadership for America (2000), Intellectual Pilgrims (1999), The March of Freedom (1998), Conservatives Stalk the House (1983) and Looking Back (1981). Feulner is a contributor to 10 other books and numerous journals, reviews, and magazines, and writes a biweekly syndicated column that appears in more than 500 newspapers. Feulner received his bachelor's degree from Regis University, his M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and his doctorate from the University of Edinburgh. He also studied at Georgetown University and the London School of Economics. |
