Kate PisanoKate Pisano is one of two student representatives of the George Mason University’s Board of Visitors for the 2007-2008 academic year. Pisano is currently a senior pursuing an undergraduate degree in accounting with Dean’s List honors. She is an active member of Mason’s community. Pisano is a current member of the Mason Ambassadors and was president of the organization for the 2006-2007 academic year. Additionally, during her time at George Mason University, she served as Secretary of University Services for Student Government, a Peer Advisor for the Freshmen Center, Chair of the L-Team (Leadership Training) for the LEAD Office, a four year member of the President/Provost Student Advisory Council, Lead Office Assistant for the Office of Student Activities, and Vice Chair of Homecoming 2006 for the Program Board. Pisano has utilized the resources at George Mason to improve her leadership skills by representing George Mason University at Leadershape in Champaign, IL, the National Association for Campus Activities in Lancaster, PA, and attended the National Conference on Student Leadership on behalf of George Mason in San Diego, CA. |
