William Soza

William Soza is the founder of Soza & Company, LTD. an accounting, management, and technical consulting services firm.  Under his leadership, the firm was named as a top 100 federal information technology prime contractor by Washington Technology Magazine in 2002, and recognized as the Corporation of the Year by the Greater Washington Ibero-American Chamber of Commerce in 1998.  In February 2003, Perot Systems Corporation announced an agreement to acquire Soza & Company, LTD.  Soza has been named one of the 100 most influential Hispanics in the United States by Hispanic Business Magazine in 1999 and in 1998 recognized as national Hispanic businessman of the year by the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

He is currently the commissioner of the Fairfax County Economic Development Authority and serves on several boards including the Hispanic Enterprises for Youth Foundation, Inc.; Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund, Inc., Corporate Advisory Board; Catholic Diocese of Arlington, Bishop’s Finance Council; the Fairfax Salvation Army Corps, Emeritus, and the George Mason University Foundation since 1998. 

Formerly he has served on the Professional and Occupational Regulation Board, Commonwealth of Virginia; Board of Directors, American Red Cross, National Capital Chapter; and the Advisory Board, Fairfax Salvation Army Corps

Soza received his B.B.A., in accounting, from the University of Texas, Austin and is a certified public accountant.
