Terri Cofer BeirneTerri Cofer Beirne is an associate in corporate, government relations and land use practice groups with McCandlish Holton, PC. In this capacity, she works to maintain effective relationships and to represent clients before the General Assembly, executive officials and agency staff, state licensing and regulatory boards, the State Corporation Commission, and local governing and planning bodies. Additionally, she routinely evaluates relevant legislation, statues, regulations, administrative guidance, and local ordinances for wine, health and trade association clients. Prior to joining McCandlish Holton, PC, Beirne was a law clerk in the Virginia State Corporation Commission’s Office of General Counselor, 1998; communications coordinator with the Richmond Regional Planning District Commission, 1996-1997; and coordinator with Virginia Conservation Network, 1991-1996. A former employee at and graduate of George Mason University, Beirne earned her law degree in 2000 at the University of Richmond’s T.C. Williams School of Law. She earned her undergraduate degree in 1988 at Mason and was a staff assistant in the office of the senior vice president at Mason, 1984-1987. Among the professional and community organizations to which she belongs are: Virginia State Bar Association, Virginia Bar Association, Virginia Wine and Food Society, Central Virginia Waste Management Authority, and Land Conservation Foundation Board of Trustees. Beirne resides in Midlothian, Virginia. |
